I will go if I get rims and tires for my car. You know of anyone selling 15X7's 4x100 lug patern, 205/50/15 possibly... maybe... I dont think my car will perform well with 175/70/13's
see you there, hopefully.

well the thing is I dont know if 225 will fit my car, I know 205's will and they look damn meaty on 15x6.5 anyways. I asked around and nobody that responded has had wider than 205's on an eg civic. Anywyas, its almost 3am and I dont have rims, so I guess I will be racing on my 175/70/13's, its all about seat time right? well I guess thats all I'll be getting. I just hope I get up in time good night!!

I have 205/50/15 Azenis on 15x7 RP-F1's on my 91 Si they fit fine. But why would you want to put a 225 on the car if it wont be but a few tenths faster and twice the price. The only 225's I know of is the BFG KD which is like $170 per tire from TireRack

I have 205/50-15 Hoosiers and 205/45-16 Kumho's that I use on my RX7, both on 7" wide rims. I might get away with a 225 in the rear and be faster, but the 225 will lose crispness on the front of the car.
With that said, I also used to use 225/50-15's on 15x7 rims on my Mustang GT when I used to run it is stock form. I ran against lots of people using 245/45-15's at the time, and I will tell you that I never lost to them in an autocross. I felt with the 225's my turn in was much crisper than theirs (and I think I proved my point). The Mustang is a 3250lb car where the RX7 is in the 2800lb range.

roadRacer, did you say crisper? with my stock bushings i probably have about as crisp turning as a Ritz in soup.
