Turbo
Not all turbo's work. First it has to have the right flange to bolt to your manifold. Next, it has to physical fit. You need enough clearance room for the block, the hood, the radiator/fans, and anything else that could be in the way. Finally, even if it phsyically fits, you need to match the turbo to the engine. If you could get some giant diesal truck turbo to fit it probably wont even produce boost at redline.

you dont want one too small either or at the higher rpms, there wont be enough power and the turbo will be out of it's efficiency range...for any turbo you can get a flange to fit some flange sizes are just more common than others
