Goodyear Eagle GT tires, yay or nay?
I am in desperate need of some new tires and have found an offer of buy 3 Eagle GT tires and get the fourth free. These tires aren't "cheap" and after reading reviews online (tirerack.com etc.) seem to say that they are good all weather tires.
Always good to hear from consumers though so if anybody has used these, or knows of a good all weather tire to use instead, let me know.
Thanks in advance.

Had these (Yoko Avid W4S)on my E46:

Did really well for what I needed (DD that I could ream out on the weekends). Had a couple events at VIR on them and they stuck well. I don't fuck around in the rain, so I didn't pay much attention to wet traction. Nice ride, good handling, would let you know when you were getting close to the limit.
Have these (Pilot Sport A/S Plus) on my E90 after I scrapped those fucking worthless RFT's..excellent ride, stable well in excess of 100 mph, corner well. Haven't been able to push them yet.

Considered the Eagle's you're looking at but a lot of the reviews turned me off, but I generally like/prefer Goodyears.

The Eagle GT's impressed me when they came out. I work for Goodyear and those tires are one of the few that I like. I think most of the tires Goodyear makes are junk, but I like those. Goodyear does have a higher number of comebacks than other top brand tires, but I haven't seen any customer's having complaints with the Eagle GT's. If you want to spend a little more then I'd look into the Eagle F1 all season.
Good spot, I noticed this also. I found them on tire rack for $50 cheaper and with a rebate available. However, after shipping and then having to get them put on, it works out to about the same price.
Had them on my Scion tc. they wander everywhere on the highway for the first week or two but after that I liked them. not the best all seasons in snow but very good wet and dry grip
