Just need to get this off my chest, how in the world do you lose something that weights 550lbs, well UPS did yesterday. Call to see what time my motor will be here and they told me they lost or other words it didn't make it to any terminals. So I have to wait another 48 hrs to get an answer. On the bright side the seller said if I don't receive it in 48 hrs he'll ship another one. That means I have to wait again, the seller needs to get another shipping company. Man this sucks

This makes me feel like the seller printed off a ticket but never took it to the hub, or called the hub to pick it up. He/she may have told you that just to buy him/her some processing time. Where did you purchase the engine from?

No, you can have a tracking number and the package never ship. Trust me, I give tracking numbers to customers all the time and have to explain that the tracking info will not update until it's picked up, but it will show "shipment information sent to UPS/FedEX/DHL/ANAL"

-or it will say (on the customers end anyway) something vague like " Package is to be picked up xx/xx/xx" or " Shipping label has been printed/processed by xxxxxx"
