Cops are always sitting right over the bridge on Hampton Blvd. I had an asshole cop from the Terminals pull me over on Hampton Blvd like 10 blocks from the terminals and write me a warning i guess they can pull people anywhere they want not just in the terminals. Im sure they dont have any action in there so they wonder out looking for anything they can find.

 

Ya I hate that f*#$ing speed trap. They are always sitting on one side of that bridge on Hampton blvd. between Terminal and ODU. I just always make sure to slow down to the speed limit before reaching the top of the hill that the bridge makes. That how they get you, because you don't even have time to see them before they clock your ass and give you a ticket.

 

Ive seen a cop walk to the middle of the bridge with a radar gun and just hit people with it, and in the little post office or school or whatever it is on the ODU side of the bridge there were seriously like 7 Cop cars.

 

I've seen a cop standing behind some bushes on the ODU side of the bridge hitting people with the radar gun, while two crusiers sat hiden around the corner. There was pretty much no way to see the trap till it was too late, but I got lucky and happened to not be speeding at the moment Hardcore $hit

 

yeah it sucks my street is right next to the bridge i have to drive it everyday goodthing i have the valentine.

 

yeah i go to odu see that shit everyday and laugh at the people who get pissed at me when i slow down to 35 on that bridge then speed past me i'm surprised somebody actually got a warning hope its not me just slow down before you reach the hump

 

er..... i just go 40 the whole way down hampton, they aren't gonna pull you for 5 over. i mean, unless you guys are always late for class, there isn't much point to going faster.

 

Another one lately is right in front of Waterside. Twice in the past two weeks I have watched them pull literally EVERYONE over that goes by waterside. About 7 cops stand in the median with their radars out, they radar you and walk out in front of you and pull you over. If you don't pull over, there are about 10 cop cars in the hotel/waterside loading dock waiting to give chase.

 

note to self... stay out of norfolk

damn police are spending more time with their radar guns than patroling citizens homes. preferably near odu
