Im buying this Pontiac Trans Am and I was wondering if anyone could explain to me some of the differences between a Trans Am a regular V8 Firebird? I was kind of confused he said Trans Am bc I thought they all had the ram air intake can someone clear this up for me please and how can I tell the difference? This is the car.

differences between a formula (regular v8 firebird) and a base model trans am are very minimal. basically, they look a little different. a formula and a trans am are going to perform the same. hell, even the ws6 package doesnt really add much performance wise other than 17" wheels. just go to ls1tech, there are all kinds of write ups about this topic.
