92 prelude with h22 swap..overheating and leaking coolant

92 prelude with h22 swap..overheating and leaking coolant
i have a 92 prelude with an h22 swap...its overheating and coming out the vents and in the floorboard...i heard i can disconnect the heater core..does this work?
