*UPDATE* picked up a replacement tranny... new price

Description: 1987 toyota supra turbo... ran strong and everything pulled hard as hell... engine has been fully serviced and just got it running really good... the previous owner failed to inform me that the tranny was leaking gear oil so on the trip back from picking up my wheels i was driving on the interstate and it felt as something fell while i pushed in the clutch but ran fine... well while almost home it grinded in 2nd and 3rd... took it home and put gear oil in it... idk if i put to much or what ever... but pops out in 1st, grinds in 3rd and slightly in 5th but not loud... can be driven away... i just ran out of money and dont have the time to fix it myself... has 3in exhaust... greddy bov... and other random parts... my loss your gain i just need money for a dd to get to and back to school and work
*UPDATE* will be working on car daily... soon will pull tranny and rebuild price will go up depending on work... if i get my dads 84 Celica running i will be keeping this

You sure the transmission problem isn't the shift linkage and/or fork? With the transmission only popping out/grinding in the up gears, it's possible.

really good... doesnt like cold starts too much... the coilpack to 1 and 6 is picky... but ordering a new ignition system should be in soon

 

Would you be interested in an 85 200SX Silvia with a SOHC KA swap? I need to finish it this weekend, but I pretty much just have to put coolant and transmission fluid in it...
