i'll try to make this as simple as i can...
WHAT I DONT HAVE:
-rear running lights
-any marker lights (corners, license plate, etc)
-instrument panel lights
-heating & AC lights
WHAT I DO HAVE:
-headlights
-high beams
-turn signals (front and rear)
-dome light
-fog lights
-break lights
i have swapped out all the fuses, and replaced my headlight switch (that also acts as the dimmer switch) with a brand new one. it still did not fix my problem, so does anybody have any idea of a specific connection that could be loose? or am i just going to have to dig for a needle in a haystack?
any help is appreciated

Have you checked any of the bulbs in question? I know it sounds ridiculous but ive seen it happen before that one bulb can go bad and affect all the others if they are on the same circuit. I have also seen a bulb socket in a tail light go bad and burn up and throw the lighting system off.

check the dimmer switch too...could be the reason for the interior lighting issue
