Calgone47 and I decided to go play in the snow last night and before we even got to our destination i smacked the shit out of a curb with my front driverside rim. I got ls rims and i payed 200 for em and they all were in great condition until now. The rim has a 2 1/2 - 3 inch gash in it and a bend from hell and when i hit 45-55 the car wants to pull to the left and it wobbles a bit . Very pissed but we still had fun until the cop showed up. Ill have pics later.

Look up Wheel Doctors in the phone book... they can fix it.

 

bet check uhm.... everything, haha, hub/bearing/shock/trailing arm bar/etc. you can mess up a lot of shit doing that

i got a guy that has a rim pickin it up fri how much you want for the tire or is it a donation to the "help dave find a tire fund"

 

I had a similar accident b4, but instead I hit a pothole and went out of control hitting the curb. When I get it check to see any damage for free. It cost me at least 1,000. To get it fixed. Its not just the rim might be enternal parts.

 

I would try and get a price qoute somewhere else. Thats sounds pretty steep.

 

This is why I dont play in the snow with my car. 2 years ago I did the same thing. Ended up replacing the right a arm, both bearings up front, my steering rack and my PS pump and one of my stock steelies was bent to shit. You might want to go thru your front end to make sure nothing is seriously damaged. I didnt think so and waited....well you see what I had to replace. Good Luck man.

 

I spun my van for a few hours.. I did the slolum (sp) with some medians in the snow.. amazingly the Mini-V is a Ice Queen...



EDIT: I didn't get any damage, but I did purposly drive over some medians to get to other areas......
