Selling my 69 beetle. It has a 67 1300 block but am about 90% its a 1500 on the top end. I have owned it since October and have driven it daily really just lost interest and have a truck that I need to put money and attention to. I have done coil, voltage regulator, cap, rotor, condenser points all bosch. ngk plugs, cleaned the battery cables, empi window cranks, new starter switch, valve cover gaskets and bails (german), installed new heater hose from fan to exhaust, also have but need to install new wiper arms and blades (german from wolfburgwest). Also comes with new sun visors, parts to redo heating cables and hoses, rebuilt heater boxes, empi valve cover breather kit, shifter bushing, short shifter kit, pop out windows, gasket for oil change, and new cap/rotor/points/condenser as its tune up time again. previous owner had carb rebuilt and rebuild wiper motor (think I have receipts still).

The good:
-Newer paintjob but prob macco but still decent
-5 spoke wheels with good tires
-Interior is pretty clean
-Appears to have very little rust
-Right heads looks like recent rebuild
-Comes with later deck lid installed but have the right year as well
-Trim has been removed and filled so semi cal look

The bad:
Starter just went
-Left head needs a rebuild but have time to plan for it
-Door panels should be replaced
-Dash pad is wrong year and needs to be replaced
-missing one piece of carpet on left kick panel
-brakes need to be adjusted shouldn't need any parts though
-horn ring screws came out and I lost them, still have the ring though so easy fix just need new screws wolfsburgwest sells a kit

Also comes with new sun visors, parts to redo heating cables and hoses, empi valve cover breather kit, shifter bushing, short shifter kit, pop out windows, gasket for oil change, spare fan belt that's good for a backup, extra set of points, new set of spark plug wires. Previous owner had carb rebuilt and rebuild wiper motor (think I have receipts still).

I was driving it daily. Would be interested in a trade for a 1986-1991 bmw 318 or 325 (e30) but needs to be driver status

** I have done the tune up (points, cap, rotor, condenser, and coil wire - all Bosch) and adjusting brakes today so just needs a starter to be set.** Come get this before I do the starter and ask $2800. Will take $2,000 if gone by Friday. 804-878-9130
