cleaning up, getting ready for a new headgasket

Nothing too major for atleast a little while, might upgrade to a type r rear sway bar sometime this semester when it gets a little warmer. I'm just excited to have a car thats not burning oil, so I prolly wont go doing anything fancy to it for a while.

Well, I've only been working in the 1k to 3.5k rpm range since the jobs been finished in an attempt to break in my motor and let the rings and everything seat properly. I haven't noticed much of a difference there, but im hoping that by the end of this week the break in will be over and I can open it up to find out.

Why do you suggest using Mobil 1 over other brands of oil?

Because mobil one has been proven (or any nice fully syn for that matter) to perform much better than any other oil out there. The reason I say use it now if you havent before is because now everything is new, and now is the time when you can begin using it and not have it leak through your rings etc.

Many synthetic companies suggest that you wait 'till you have around 10,000 miles on your car, so that the rings CAN properly seat!

Just a heads up!
