I have for sale a 1989 Mercedes Benz 300te station wagon. Car is a 3 speed auto tranny with straight 6 cyl gas motor. Car has 234k miles on it, but odometer is dead. I've owned since September of last year and have put around 10k on it since then. Never failed to start or take me any distance, rain snow or heat. Car is white exterior, original paint with a few scratches but shines very well, passes the 5ft test. Interior is blue carpeting and blue MB tex (leather) seats and wood trim. The dash is cracked, but otherwise the interior looks brand new. Has third row seats, JVC AM/FM/Cd player with four good speakers and a 12" sub. Car is pretty well optioned for the year, power windows locks seats self leveling rear hydraulic suspension and tinted windows, memory driver's seat, telescoping wheel, and third row. Car seats 7 adults with safety belts. I've thoroughly enjoyed owning this car, but would prefer something smaller and better on gas for a single guy with a half hour commute.
The Good:
Solid car, good body, paint, and interior
Newish (10/32) tires
Nearly 7k in work done during past year: Replace rear suspension, engine tune-up and several professional details of car
The Bad:
A/C does not work. Nearly everything but the compressor needs to be replaced, have been quoted $1,000 for work
Will need front shocks soon, they are starting to shake under 80+mph braking
Ad is cut and pace from craigslist. Willing to sell lower to a member, but I need this gone yesterday to buy another car. Please make an offer haha. Going tomorrow morning to have the car detailed and then I'll have more pictures to share, here's a few that I've taken over the last year.
