I'm pretty sure theres only one.. anyway. If you don't work at bestbuy or know someone who does, no real point in reading this.

I know a few of you guys work there, or work at one of them. I purchased (with cash Im almost positive) a samsung N400 phone, plus the $40-60 warranty (forgot price) around last December.

As I'm sure most of the world knows, this phone is the biggest piece of shit ever created.

But I can deal with it freezing, and calling the wrong numbers, and randomly cancelling my calls -- but about a month ago my speaker phone just decided to stop working. Ok, whatever, I'll live.

About a week ago, my microphone AND earpiece stopped working.

I took my phone in assuming I'd be in the computer system, and they told me I needed my original reciept. Fuck that, $60 for a warranty, I have 3 goddamn picture ID's, the phone isn't expensive, and it was over a year ago - someone please help me get a new POS phone. They'd probably give me some craptacular refurbished joint anyway, whatever, at least I could talk.

I swear half of this site works at BB or CC, pull some string please. I'll buy you a chalupa.

if you paid by cash you are basically SOL. if you paid by credit, debit, or check they can find you on the database system. do you still have the warranty booklet they gave you with it stamped on the back? that's probably the only way you can convince them you purchased the service plan....good luck

 

I worked there a few years back and if I remember right, when you purchased the Performance Plan thing they register you and the item in the computer. You should go straight to the manager and let him know, you are def in the computer system if you bought the service plan.

 

yeah i got a n400 as well and its a pos, it works fine cept you have to hit the talk button with a hammer for it to work. i paid cash too soo fuck it im gettin a nextel walkie talkie next

 

i work at the nn bestbuy. if you got the service plan, you should be in the system. if not, then paying by cash = screwed. talk to the manager and see if she will do anything. pm me and we can talk and if u want maybe u can drive up here and work it out in my bestbuy. ill talk to my managers and see what we can do for you.

I have two friends who work in the Va Beach BB...but if you paid cash and didn't get plan like said above, I doubt they can help.

The guy said they could only look up my receipt if I paid CC... I think thats bullshit.
