recently my power steering went out and i cant seem to find out what part isnt working i think its the pump, but im not sure the power steeringg wants to start rsponding after i get the rpm above 2k but belowe that it wont respond at all. any ideas would help
Your ps pulley may be locking up or torqued on too hard. When you're over 2k rpms it's probably getting enough power to try and rotate it. I'd check the torque on it to make sure it's not on too tight.
