Touch up Paint

Default Touch up Paint

any good methods to applying touch up paint and leveling it out with the rest of the body. am i supposed to apply it and let it dry...then scrape off the dry part to level it out...thx never really used it before on small rock chips and some underbumper scratches

from what i read on the bottle of touch up paint i got for my car it says to apply a thin coat, then let it dry, then repeat the process until it levels out...

you should get the rock guard, it's a clear film that you put over the front end of your suby... supposed to help out a lot. look on nasioc for it. i don't remember the exact name of it, but you'll find it if you search for "rock guard" . think about putting that on once you get the touch up paint on.

here is what i did on my civic:
spray a light coat...dab it with a cloth so it gathers a slight texture...let it dry, then apply coats allowing to dry in succession. worked pretty good. you shouldnt need to use the cloth after the first coat.

3m makes it and it sucks ass. It turns yellow over time and its a pain in the ass to get off.
