Had a blast at Summit Point last weekend running TimeTrial in TTA and instructing. This was my first time to Summit Point and I was able to run a best lap of 1:17.8 beating the old TTA record of 1:20.3 by 2.5 seconds

The two students I had were both great learners with large comfortable American-muscle sedans. One had a CTS-V and the other a SRT-8 Charger. Heated seats are very nice for a 28 degree West Virginia morning

 

Very nice. whats the difference with TTA/TTU. Got any on board vids?

 

I'm pretty sure it's Time Trial Class A and Time Trial Unlimited. I don't know what the technical difference is, but I'm sure it has to do with what modifications are allowed on the cars.

 

No vids... my camera battery won't hold a charge anymore and the camera is too old to find a new one anywhere.
Yep... it's two levels up on the TT class scale. Goes as follows:

TTR - Anything goes... literally anything
TTU - 5.5 lbs/horsepower minimum, unlimited modifications (for the most part)
TTS - 8.7 lbs/horsepower minimum, unlimited modifications (for the most part)
TTA - 8.7 lbs/horsepower minimum, modification points apply
TTB - Here and below I don't pay attention too as far as mods/power to weight etc., but each class has a power/weight and mod points
TTC
TTD
TTE
TTF
