Default Thinking about buying a 1993 Civic Hatch B18 swap

I've been talking to a guy about a B18 powered Civic hatch, and I'm kind digging the car. Problem is I'm a little bit car retarded and have only done a few things on my truck. He says that the spark plugs are burning out and it isn't getting enough fuel and might need a fuel pump. Sound legit? Also says it needs for wheel alignment and a right tie rod as well. He's asking $2500 with new tires, coils, struts and camber kit.

Looking for a total tally of what I might be looking at to do what I want to to the car.
Mainly get it painted dark blue, with white rims, color matched motor, and a roof rack. I'm sure I'll end up throwing some go fast goodies at it once I start figuring out what I'm doing.

Looks and sounds like a horrible deal. It could be the fuel pump, but it could also be something way worse. How many miles are on it?

If it's not getting enough fuel that is very bad. Running rich is OK, but running lean is just bad. Like KABOOM bad.

If it was me I would not buy that car. If it's burning spark plus that means it's burning the top of the piston to. It's only a matter of time before there is a hole in them and your fucked and have to build or buy a new engine. Have you tried negotiating with him? Ask him what his lowest price is. But i'm sure you can find a better deal elsewhere.

I'm planning to haggle a bit, I'm not sure if he has ran it after he did the swap or not. say it was the fuel pump, or injectors and it hasn't been ran. And I replace those before I move it would that be bad even tho he hasn't driven it much? Presuming he hasn't he could have ran the hell out of it for all I know.
Either way I'm just shopping around at this point, I want/need a smaller vehicle and why not get something I can have fun with.

It's a swapped honda of course he dogged it. I'd definately look around more unless he accepted an offer no one would refuse.

Also a fuel pump is an easy fix, so that car seems shaddy.

Yeah, I wouldn't mess with that I car. 2500 is the a lot for a basically stock car with a ls that isn't running well. Especially since it needs all that work.
