I have a 91 civic dx coverted to mpfi it had a d15 in it that ran fine and now i have put a b18a1 with a obd1 dizzy p75 ecu with jumper harness all stock internals. The problem im having is that it doesnt rev past 3500 rpms. I checked the cel and it doesnt throw and codes. The check engine light comes on when i dont jump it. As soon as i jump the plug with a paper clip the light goes off. Also my knock sensor isn't hooked up and i just replaced the tps sensor and i checked all my plugs and made sure they are in the right place. Any suggestions?

 

You don't have a knock sensor. That engine doesn't have one, and that ECU doesn't have an input for one.

 

I suggest you learn how to read.

 

Sounds like a crank angle sensor inside the dizzy.....the wire(s) might have came loose during the swap

 

Well................ there's your problem. lol

 

Buy my already converted to OBD1 EF and call it a day.

And all the wires are nice and tight i checked already

 

Then try another obd1 ls dizzy cuz that's most likely the cra
nk position sensor cuz I had the same problem in my ls ef hatch but one of the wires didn't have a good enough connection.....with some solder and heat shrink I was good to go
