iight heres the problem....the otha day i was driven and ma car just completley shuts off......it truns over but it wont spark.............so my neighboor who is a mechanic says i should put a new coil in there since my old one shorted (thats what he said when he tested it out)....i did and i when i started it back up and it ran for 2 min and then did the same thing.......and when i tested out the new coil it had shorted out also.......what could be wrong? i mean it has to be in the distributer otha wise my coil wont be shorting out ...the bad coils read .6 ohms....what should it read?? has this ever happend to sumone else??.......where is a good place to take it so that i could get it done soon and cheap in the area of Va Beach??..........i have been out of a car for 2 weeks and im tired of it. hopefully someone can help me out...thanx

 

have you double checked all your engine grounds and made absol sure that they are on tight. Esp the 2 on the rad fan switch and tranny

 

check the ignitor in the distributor it looks like a playstation memory card that sits inside the distributor body itself. they go bad ALL the time in hondas. the last time i owned a honda i think they were like 100.00 bucks. its also called a spark control module i think.

 

You most likely have bad grounds SRp motors ask for carlos 574-7055...
