Prayers for Parker
A buddy of mine's 12 year old nephew is going through a really rough time right now. He's currently first on the list on the east coast for an emergency liver transplant. Any thoughts/prayers and support are greatly appreciated for him and his family towards a speedy recovery.

Just 3 weeks ago Parker was playing golf, working on cars with his dad and enjoying his life as a healthy 12 year old boy. Out of the blue Parker started feeling tired all of the time and his skin was becoming jaundice. Thursday we were told to take Parker to the ER. Friday Parker was on the Nightingale headed to Georgetown University. Saturday he had a liver biopsy.
Unfortunately Parker's test levels reached 2.3 late Sunday night. He was put on the national list for organ donors. He gets to go to the top of the list because of his liver's condition, so that's a positive way I look at it. The numbers dropped slightly this morning to 2.0 which is good news, sorta. Even if he drops below the 2 he will still continue to stay on the list until a perfect match is found. The doctors are still saying that there is a very slim chance he recovers but we are getting prepared anyway. I believe the transplant will definitely happen but I still have a glimmer of hope of him fighting back. He's a very strong kid. Much tougher than his Daddy for sure even only being 12 yrs old. He knows that if he keeps his heart open, that God and Jesus may enter and heal his mind, body, and soul and that his muscles are the armor to keep evil out. My little boy has had to grow into a man so early. It's unbelievable how he's taking this whole situation so courageously.
Please continue to pray for us that his transplant is a first time success and for a fast recovery. Much love to all of y'all.
