Default b18a1 and b18b1 help!

Ok so i have and B18a1 that messed up on me now i was wondering if i would be able to switch everything off of the a1 onto the b1 not really sure because i can see a few diffrences in them thank you and keep all the negative comments off this

Assuming you're talking about switching over things like the distributor and injectors?
Sure, they're similar motors.

believe the only thing that is different are the cams and additional sensors on the b1

should be pretty much a direct bolt in affair. I did the swap a few years back and it was very straight forward.

Yeah, most of it is pretty much swap and run. Do the B18B1's have knock sensors? That would be the only thing I'd be concerned about. Because most everything else swaps right over. As long as it's an OBD1 (assuming your B18A1 is OBD1, and not OBD0) then it should be literally an "out with the old, in with the new" affair. May need to reuse your driver's side engine mount and bracket, from the A1, though. Keeping the A1's YS1 transmission?

The A1 I put in my integra after doing a rebuild had a port open on the back of the block and I had to swap a plug from the B1 into it. Not sure what was in the hole for the A1 originally, but you might need to remove one of the plugs.
