Description: 1996 Mustang Cobra for sale/trade I've had this car for a few months now and i want something different.

the vehicle has been sitting in storage for the duration of a 15 month deployment, the title was lost in a military PCS and i am currently getting a new title for the car.

REALLY trying to get a 240sx that's decent and runs good. Make an offer.

Pros:
-Freshly rebuilt transmission (done about 3 months ago) Mercon V with SynchroMech
-New clutch and pilot bearing installed 2 months ago, new throw out bearing installed 3 weeks ago.
-New convertible top (Purchased from Mustangs Unlimited) Installed but back glass is still out due to needing a new trunk liner
-All four (4) O2 sensors were replaced when transmission was rebuilt
-Rebuilt Pro 5.0 Power Tower shifter (installed slightly stiffer centering springs)
-'03 Cobra SVT rims with Yokohama S-Drive tires (Front tires will need replacing soon)
-Flywheel was cut and resurfaced when throw out bearing was replaced (done by machine shop)

Oh boy.. Here we go..

Cons:
-Differential making noise, started about a week ago, pops loud when turning but its quiet and drives smooth when going straight.
-Needs a new trunk liner to install back glass.
-Needs brakes
-Shocks and struts are bad (Original from 96)
-Driver's seat is torn from regular use, has a few other interior issues.
-Paint has scratches and chipping in some spots.
-Front bumper was hit my a lifted truck with a tow hitch, knocked a hole in it.
-MIL Light on due to P1506 code, the IAC (Idle Air Control) Valve is bad, needs replaced.
-No A/C, No leaks just needs freon
-CD player stopped working today (7/22/2012) No idea why.
-Speedo issue, sometimes it sticks and doesn't want to work, i simply lightly tap the top of the dash and it comes back on.


Sure i'm missing something, just PM with any questions you have, car currently has 158k miles on it. Really looking for a 240sx, ill need another vehicle once this is gone.

I have the back glass (no cracks) and also Flowmaster mufflers (was too lazy to put them back on when transmission went back in)

$4000... gl man I had a 95 that was super clean and took 2 months t sell for $5500

 

The 4k is really just to have a price up there, this car isn't worth that, i'm really trying to trade for something, if i can't i'll price drop the hell out of it. I just want it gone.
