2008 GTI turbo issues
I have a 2008 vw gti, and lately I noticed the turbo is louder and I have a lack of power. I've done a little research and (possibly) discovered that there is a loose hose somewhere. I'm not exactly mechanically inclined, but I looked around and didn't seem to find any hoses disconnected. Any other ideas or help?

Do you have a boost leak tester?
Stock Downpipe?
Do you have Cats?

Intake is secured on tight.
It feels like the car starts to boost at first, but then once the turbo begins to spool up it feels like it loses power almost

If you are getting a whoosh - http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-...rter/ES263879/ also check the hoses leading up to it.
Should you decide to get this done yourself - http://www.golfmkv.com/forums/showth...rter+valve+diy
