1996 VW Jetta GLX VR6! - $3000 OBO!

Black 1996 Volkswagen Jetta GLX VR6
Transmission: Manual 5-Speed
Clean title
Mileage: 144,000
Asking price: $3000 OBO!
Mechanical: This car is mechanically sound in and out. The warning lights on the gauge cluster are temperamental. The check engine light, temperature light, and brake light come on and go off as they please but there is nothing wrong with the motor and the car stays as cool as a cucumber. The brake light stays on sometimes even when the brake is released. I have had this looked at and everything is fine.
Exterior: The clear-coat is starting to fade fade still looks decent for the car's year. There is has a small dent in the rear driver side door but you would have to start to notice. There is a minor scratch on the rear passenger side door but it should come out with a little rubbing compound. The windshield was replaced in April to pass inspection and the wiper blade were just replaced last week. Oil changes are up to date and have been done every 3,000 miles, dealer changed.
Interior: The interior is black leather with minor tears and blemishes on the driver seat. The passenger and rear seats are virtually flawless.
Options: This car has a sliding sun-roof and is equipped with full power options except for seating. The seats are heated. There is also a stock six-disc changer in the trunk and all of the original tools for changing tires, etc.
<b>The car is for sale because I want something different. I am open to all trades of equal or reasonably lesser value. The worst I can say is no! </b>
Well and fully maintained. Inspection is good until April 2013.
Records and/or receipts have been kept for all work done on the car thus far.
Functionally and mechanically perfect.
