is 20w-50 regular motor oil okay to use in my new tranny???

just get Redline MTL or honda tranny fl. also GM friction type if its starting to grid or slip

Redline MTL sometimes screws with the trans in a honda. better off using Redline 10W-30. sometimes the MTL has too much lubricity.

but can i use the 20w-50 motor oil in my tranny? i didnt ask wat i should i use i just asked can i use 20w-50 in my tranny lol

just use 10w 30 oil. or honda tranny oil. 20w 50 is probably too heavy

must be a honda thing, cuz i've never heard of using motor oil in a tranny.

Exactly...I want to say for some reason the last time I changed transmission fluid I used 75W90 non synth...

Also, the GM stuff has some stuff that will dissolve brass parts over time, so if your car has brass synchros, well, don't use it.
