Well, I was not as frequent to the board last year, and didn't want to be flamed for bringing up old posts, i'd rather bring up an old topic. I knew his car was impressive but didn't know it was that impressive.

but yeah it is a pretty car (pretty sure it's for sale now) i like the vid of him and rhombus on the closed course.

Yeah, I think it is cool as hell he is so cool about it. I just think it would be hard to have a car that puts out that much and not be cocky about it. I know I would have difficulty with it. Much props. However, I would like to see the car someday.

 

i'll bring the Z out to a spring meet/show whatever & may take it to Bristol, but as joey mentioned, shes big turbo style so good launches w/o spinning the hell out of every gear is pretty tricky. I think she can put almost anything down from a roll, but from a dead dig or a very slow roll (like the 10mph or so rhombus & i started from) isnt her ideal fun. But i have a friend in TX who has basically a very simliiar set up who is at 666rwhp (they love that # btw) and he most recently got 10.3 in the 1/4 - they should be in the 9's very soon.
The other issue is that i'm not an experienced 1/4 mile driver, so i doubt i would do the best runs in her for at least the first several.
She's a pleasure to drive & from a roll she is insane, but she will eat through 1st & 2nd and thats just in low boost w/o spray....imagine a dead dig w/ 25psi, 60shot, race fuel, etc.
