1989 Civic DX Project
Picked this up a few weeks ago. Immediately knew I had my work cut out for me, so much for honesty from the seller. Let's begin.
This is how it sat when I picked it up:

First thing first. Was told it was just missing the HVAC controls. WTF. Whole HVAC was gutted. Seeing as how I play to daily this eventually, I need heat.

During the process of yanking the dash out to put the HVAC in I noticed someone had welded the damn steering column to the frame and the PO had broke the damn thing replacing the ignition. Took a minute but replaced the whole steering column.

As you can see in the original pics, the front bumper was jacked up. Found out the threads in this support bracket were nonexistant. So I made some studs.

Came with some busted ass GSR leathers. Threw them out for some Del Sols. Seeing as how both seats had the same seat rails and neither fit this chassis, I got creative.
Damn battle wounds.

Re: 1989 Civic DX Project
So, the coil overs that were on this turd were single lock ring style, you know, the one that requires an allen headed bolt to tighten down. All 4 bolts were missing and all the suspension was shot. So with newer struts and coilovers, and an Integra donor, we did some work.

Car was trashed due to getting screwed on the title and the OUTRAGEOUS amount of rust on both quarter panels and the gruesome hole in the hatch area. Only took this one pic of the rust.

For a beat up DX with an LS swap in it, I hope you paid entire hundreds of dollars for it. Anything else would be a complete ripoff.
