alright guys, ive got a 2000 Acura Integra that ive had for about 6 months now. my GSR recently broke a thrust washer so i bought a B20Z2 to roll around with until i get my GSR rebuilt. before i start i will say the car was boosted before i got it, which i learned the hard way so im not sure of what all other than what was on the GSR when i took it out. now that ive put the B20 in and hooked everything up right, the engine wont start. i had to repin my B20 distributor that came with the motor to get it to fit with my harness. all that was done right and still no start. i took my chipped P28 out, thinking that was the problem and put in an OBD1 P75 and still nothing. Now, the engine wont stop priming which i dont understand either. i dont get why this thing wont start and i need all the help i can get to figure this out because its my daily. any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

You need spark, fuel, and compression. Find out which you don't have.

ive got spark, fuel, and compression. just redid the timing too to make sure everything was right and readjusted it as needed

If that was the case, then it would run. Just look through everything with patience. You sound so sure of yourself, and that's gonna make it harder to find the problem. It could easily be something small and stupid(brings to mind the neutrul(sp) safety switch).

very true. I'm just a little frustrated. I've been out here every night for a week straight trying different things out, ever since I got done putting it in. my car wouldn't have a neutral safety switch unless it was an automatic originally, right?

Wrong. If it broke, then you should see something that looks like a broken crayon tip on the floor near the clutch pedel

If it was a neutral safety switch it wouldn't even spin the engine over.
