Just like the title says I have a M2B4 Factory LSD H-series transmission for sale, approx: 60k miles on whole transmission, when I bought it with an estimated 50k miles on it, It had a slight 5th gear grind (VERY VERY common!) I had a shop pull it apart and replace 3-5 synchros with carbon synchros from synchrotech (lost papers for work done; however if needed I can get them re-printed from shop!). Furthermore this made the transmission perform flawlessly, with absolutly no grinds/pop-outs/etc.! Anyways I truly wish I could keep this transmission but recently put a longer gear'd tranny for my turbo set-up in. so figured I'd put it up for sale and see if anyone is interested in a great transmission! (please note: these trans still do fine on turbo'd cars just wanted that slight difference with the longer final drive)

this transmission can work on H-series or F-series motors (excluding s2000 f20/f22 motor) will work on the F20B out of the accord so dont let the f20 fool you. also will fit directly into all trim preludes from 92-01 and most of the 90's accords. with proper mods will also fit civic, integra, del sol, crx, and so fourth (you get the picture)

I've had 3 m2b4 fifth gear grind is not common. I'm glad there are some honest people on here though. Glows the past 3 trans I bought for my d were told to be find and everyone of them had an issuer

 

yeah bro the owner before me was fairly honest, it did in fact have slight 5th gear grind but Im certain that a percentage of people ive spoken to on many prelude forums can all vouch for 5th gear being known for such an issue. maybe itsa the luck of the draw but it is in the more "common side"
