Default 1993 Mazda RX7 R1 edition

**MORE PICS THROUGHOUT THE POST!! AND VIDS ON PAGE 2**

Name: Chris
Location: Fredericksburg
Means of contact: pm me
Price: $20,000 OBO but really looking to trade a truck (but open to anything). Cash offers can PM me but i WILL NOT take less then 15k if wanting to buy. you will be hard pressed to find a FD in this condition for 15-20k. took me a year just to find this car.
possibly consider trades for truck/trailer of equal value. or truck and dirtbikes/quads

1993 Mazda RX7 rare R1 edition. these cars came in 3 models. base, touring and R series. the R series is the all out pure race series (the type R to honda).two oil coolers, front air dam, rear functional wing, stiffer suspension,no sound dampening material,etc... Not only are they the "R"s but they are rare.

Description:

Well i guess its that time to part with one of my dream cars. Ill start by saying im in no hurry to get rid of this thing and you can keep negative comments to your self. This car has been RELIGIOUSLY maintained as im about to explain. Oil has been changed EVERY 2,000 miles on the dot, summer i run 20w-50 castrol and 10w-40 in the winter. EVERY summer i flush the coolant and run 70-30 water/coolant with redline water wetter, and again in the winter to run 60-40 water/coolant. Trans was flushed 10k ago with Royal purple trans fluid, and differential was done 5k ago. Fluids never see over a year in this car, every spring it gets the "spring cleaning". Fuel filter was done 3k ago and sparkplugs (12 bucks a pop) was done 3k ago and a set has never seen over 15k. plug wires have about 15k on them and will be changed once they hit the 20k mark. As you can see i take care of this car, and yes IT IS MY DAILY DRIVER. car has only seen 93 octane in her.

Now onto whats done:
The car has 140k on it and the motor was replaced at 100k with a 40k motor. This is what was stated to me when i bought the car and i believe it the way the car runs and drives. no i do not have proof on the motor but the car starts and purs like it has 20k miles. ive drove this car to DC from fredericksburg for over a year no problems, as as stated before, is still my daily driver. have not had a problem to date.

Outside:
Shaved emblems, repainted briliant black to stay with the R1 theme. has paint chip on front bumper (which is a recall on these cars) but has been touched up. a small door ding on the driver and passanger door from idiots that park to close.
FEED carbon fiber headlight covers
MRR GT5's powder coated black. Staggered wheels. 19x8.5 front 19x10 rear.

Under the hood:
RX7 store 3" downpipe heatwrapped
RX7 store 3" resonated midpipe heatwrapped
Custom 3" exhaust with resonator from the midpipe back to a RX7 store muffler (sounds great prob best sounding rotary IMO)
RX7 store intake hardpipes heatwrapped
3" intercooler pipes hot side heatwrapped
HKS SSQV blow off valve
XSPOWER bar and plate intercooler with inercooler fan (stock mount)
RX7 store oversized radiator
Pineapple racing air pump delete
"simplified" turbo control solenoid system with silicone hoses.
Knight Sports 4 BEAT ECU tuned for mods and up to 13psi. currently on stock 10psi. approx. 300bhp. This is a JDM ecu so it throws a CEL for air pump i believe.have stock USDM ecu to prove that car has no CEL issues and also can pull code infront of you.

Inside:
pretty stock other then boost, volts, and coolant temp gauge. i have it set up where stock gauge reads coolant going into motor and aftermarket gauge reads coolant exiting motor. This is not by accident. You have full monitor of temp of motor, because these motors do not like to be overheated. driver seat has small rip (maybe 4 inches) other then that interior is clean as hell. only pieces missing is driver kick panel. Has Kenwood headunit with remote and Kenwood amp with sony speakers. everything is ran through amp and all is needed is a sub to have a "system". Car has a UNGO alarm and keyless entry.

I know im forgetting something and these pictures/description does NOT do this car justice. i know everyone on VAdriven says that but its really doesnt for this car. im in no hurry to sell it and the only reason i am is im getting to old to have a tuner car and no back up and still be fooling with it, and i sold my extra car last year, plus i want something to tow my dirtbikes around so thats why i want a truck. im negotiable somewhat on the price but dont offer me something insulting.

Im a very honest and easy to deal with guy. serious inquires ill give my phone number and we can talk in person. i can take videos and more pics and answer any and all questions.
