What if I cut an O2 sensor?
I was wondering... What would happen if I cut an O2 sensor heating wire on an OBD 1 computer. I know it would throw a code, but would the fuel curve stay liek it should, or will it go into "limp mode" as they call it?
My O2 has been fuckin up on me lately and throws my car into a bad fuel curve. I know that the car has it's own fuel map before it relies on the O2 sensor. If I cut that out would it help me stay out of running shitty?

if you " disconnect " the o2 then the ecu will go into "limp mode" and will run pretty rich. it does this to keep the motor from running lean and damaging anything.
