2004 WRX STI, 89K, $17K for car (extras see below)
Montpelier, VA (25 min north of Richmond).

Java Black Pearl, turbo replaced in Sept 2013.
Current Virgina State Inspection.
Vanity Plates: "STI WRX" available for transfer.
We bought the car this spring from original owner (a good friend).
We got the car to "trial" the motor for a track car I'm building.
I'm a Porsche HPDE instructor, and I've driven the car at Roebling Road Raceway and VIR. The car is strong and handles well, although still stock.
2004 transmission ratios seem particularly well suited to road race and autocross.
The car has been adult driven and garaged it's entire life.
The car is unmolested, with only a few changes from stock.
Struts replaced just before we bought it.
Replacement turbo this fall.
Cobb turbo heat shield.
Factory 3" exhaust upgrade (still have the original stock).
Extra front brake duct covers drilled for tow hook. (still have clean original).
Mud flaps to protect the paint while on the track.
OEM titanium strut brace.
Car has little carpet wear, as it has always had OEM STI floor mats. However the drivers side floor mat is fairly worn.
Driver's side seat has typical outside padding and fabric wear.
OEM BBS silver wheels (one has a small rim dent on inside edge but balances fine, and I use this pair for track use). These wheels came with the car and will be sold with it.
Tires are Falken Azenis RT615K (235/40-R17) with full tread depth.
We have a spare set of OEM BBS gold wheels, currently used for street use. Tires are Falken Ziex ZE-912 (225/45-R17) with 4/32 depth. However these tires came from Japan with the gold wheels and need to be replaced.
The gold rims and tires are available for an extra $750.
We added a curtis trailer hitch and correct digital to analog lighting adapter to pull a small tire trailer back and forth to track events. The Curtis hitch went in with no body mods, and tucks away quite nicely. (Check out the on-track pictures).
We have saved all original pieces, even the worn out turbo.
We have lots of extra small pieces, including lug nuts, steering wheel.
For $250 we will load up the tire trailer with all the extra parts and exhaust system so you can drive it all home.
