No hook-ups, just call everybody in the book. You'll be amazed at the price differences between places. There are a few that will beat any price, so just bullshit them when they ask you what the best quote you have been given is.

yea i've been realizing that. i just want to make sure i'm going with the place that will do a better job while im price matching. danny's charges about double every body else, but they are babbling about their quality.
i guess it will either be diamond or glassmasters.

Re: Good windshield places on the Peninsula?
usually danny's is the way to go, but i just had mine done by safelite. all the places i called were within $20 of each other. i wouldn't recommend safelite because of the following:
said they could fix my crack without needing to replace the whole thing, plus if the crack ever expanded, the cost of the fix goes towards a new windshield. the problem is the technician that fixed the crack said it was $90 to fix it. upon calling safelite later to get it replaced (it started to expand), they said they only ever charge $60 for a repair. bastard stole my $30. otherwise, they weren't that bad.

Got my winshiled replaced at Danny's...very good quality...except for the fact they didn't clean up after themselves (i.e., smudge marks all over the glass when I left)

the cheapest place I could find is Safelight, on Mercury (right near the new power plan shopping center shit) they came to my house, and did a good job too
