i remember this car when this kid down here had it. i got the oem hardtop from him dirt cheap. what happened with the clutch it was just put in before he traded it in.

 

I want me an s2k. Even if it does have an identity crisis. GLWS

 

How much did you get the hard top he wouldnt come off of it cheap I shouldnt havent bought the car without trying to get the hardtop..he was the sales person at the dealership..u know how sales people are. clutch was messed up to begin with when I bought the car. It was doing this weird jerking when starting from a stop like just being easy with it...then eventually the the spring broke out of the clutch disc. car is good now especially with new tranny fluid shifts a whole lot smoother without grinding.

FYI

AP1 projector light output is better than AP2 unless you swap the projector lens itself. AP2 over offers better appearance but light output was reduced due to fresnel lens unlike AP1 clear lens.

I miss my S2K

 

I got the headlights out of this car to go on my old ap1 s2000 from the previous owner . He didnt care and i wanted ap2 ones and he liked the projector output of the ap1 ones.. He also wanted stock exhaust so i traded him my oem for his invidia q300.
