My wife and I are headed to Chesapeake for the weekend and we were considering getting some tattoo's while we were down there. I've heard good things about Blue Horseshoe, but I can't really find any actual photos of work done by specific artists there. Looking specifically at the location in Portsmouth.

Anyone have any suggestions for artists here or another shops in the area that I should consider? Photos/artist names would be very helpful as well.

 

Personally I dont deal with any of the shops down here. becuase I've heard they all suck in one aspect or another.

Folk City in Hampton and Suffolk. Nate Hudson does great work and hires some top notch artists.

It's a drive to the beach, but I have really enjoyed the 2 experiences I have had with Trinity Tattoo, Carl Fuchs.

 

there was a dude who was runner up on ink master from va beach, he seems pretty good

Gabe Cece does some great work, have followed him since his days back at fusion. He did one of my chef buddys cosmos based sleeve, it's pretty bad ass.
