I'm trying to ship my 16 inch ROTA slipstreams (w/tires) to detriot...

I guess I have to use frieght right? Who in this area is good? How much will it cost? Contact info? Will they have packaging for me, so I don't have to go look for it?

I tried doing some Yahoo/Google searches but I only found business stuff...

Ship them in four boxes UPS, it'll cost you about $30. I used to do it for a living

 

30 bucks you must have had the hook up. i work for a shipping place and can't do that.

I do use my work. i work at Pak Mail. and i can get shit doen for free for me. and pretty cheap for friends but 30 bucks on rims i mean i could get it close. like MAYBE 50 bucks... all depends on size weight and location.

 

I sold rims on ebay as a job, we did have a rate break, but I didn't realize it was that much. Rotas I believe way somewhere around 15lbs a piece.

 

I shipped a set of 16's with tires.
I used the largest box UPS had 28x30x34 I think, and stuck 2 wheels/tires into each box, total of 2 boxes. called up UPS and they came and picked them up. I told them it was 50lbs a box. $80 for the 2 boxes shipped to California.

those packing places charge a premium, so ship from the UPS counter or have them pick up to get a lower price.

 

Deflate the tires ... put the tire and rim on you home bathroom scale .. goto UPS.com .. pay online for the shipping and use pick-up .. you can create a business name right there if you need to .. it will get you done today.
