My cousin works for TMI (the company that makes the Atom) and he sent me this vid of them playing around on the new prototype, 365hp turbocharged k24. It's rather nasty... Front wheels left the ground on something this light at Piedmont, very impressive machine.

Those things are badass. Someone one from TMI was trying to recruit me about 7 or 8 years ago, sounded like a fun small company to work for.

 

He loves it. I'm so glad he landed this job because he's been complaining about crappy boring jobs for the past few years. He went to college after the Army for business and marketing and he finally found himself in a position to put his skills to use. His office will be at VIR and he has a view of the track all day.

 

Oh yeah, I hear they use VIR as one of their main testing sites. Sounds like a dream job

 

Yep, they do. Chris has a full pass everywhere at VIR's facilities. He's in love with that job.

 

Ariel atom is so sick. really wish they were more affordable.

So am I actually. My brother is sitting on enough cash to do either one, or a v8 roadster. I've been trying to sway him towards the catfish. Although, the ecocet has its perks, mainly weight.
