My ride today ...
Went fucking awesome!!! I got my first 10 miles on her today with no parking lot practice with this bike. Smarrrrt I know. Not very busy area. Anyways ...Pulled out kinda shady driving. Problems with the clutch release point but figured it out after a few stops. I was so happy when I got to work and everyone at work including customers were talking baout it non stop including 2 fellow local bikers who offerded to ride with me! So stoaked. The ride back was very very awesome! 12 AM got to run a redlight lol ...Minus my t shirt and I couldnt see through my visor because its so dark it went well! Its such an awesome feelings. Only problem are like 10mph tight turns :\ Thanks guys for all your help. And you Del La!
PS. My balls are sore from smacking the tank or something. When I would let off the gas then get back on it ..It was some what jerky and gave me a sore stomach :\
I am. Very . I only had that one bad habit ...It was a slow very tight left turn about 5 mph or so around a curb island thing in a parking lot and I kinda put my foot down but then after that I just slowed down enough to push the bike into the parking spot. I really like riding late at night cause theres absolutly no traffic but my visor is just so dark I need a clear one. Thanks
No Not my first ...Ive had some pakring lot practice...UPDATE ..
Ok guys ..Im back from my 2nd trip ...Everything went waaay better. Great leans good control ....Except I ran ou of gas!!!! As I was pulling out from the medium turn around ..I noticed my bike wasnt reving smoothly and very bad hesistation. Got to the redlight ...Swung a huge left turn then took a 90 right turn which I need to practice swung a little wider then I wanted. Down the road About 1 mile the oil light came on and the bike died. I turned it onto the reserve tank and it barely started. I switched it back to the normal tank and it started so I gased it up to about 6 or 7rpms and tried to keep the revs up because it ket dying otherwise. So once I got that done I somehow made it home and checked the tank and the brass pick up tube was showing pretty much all the way down. DOOOH! But otherwise I feel better about it. Ill continue the safe riding and hit up MSF'S When I can get a week off work. Thanks guys and gals.

awesome glad your having fun, the weather is really starting to get nice... but just take your time, that is the key, don't let your ego or your friends make you think your ready for harder riding than you really are... my entire first season i rode like a bitch, i couldn't care less if guys on slower bikes passed me or what, even if i thought i was good enough to take a certain turn at X mph or whatever i would take it a speed i know i could and gradually go faster, or go the same speed but try and do it more comfortably and with more control, also a good thing to do is only ride hard on roads you know like the back of your hand, not all turns marked 30mph are the same... but i rode very conservatively my first season, second i started stepping it up but only in areas and amounts i was comfortable with, i would still consider myself conservative now and credit it to why i haven't wrecked(well once, but it was not my fault what so ever) and i haven't had but maybe 2 close calls if even any at all... so ride safe, get the fundamentals down and you'll have the most fun you can and find its not dangerous at all when you practice controlled riding
