Looking for paint shops in Va Beach - need a better quote
Looking for anyone working at a paint shop in Va Beach to do better than $300 to paint a 2000 Maxima hood and fender black. Both are new prime black at the moment, can be off or on the car, your choice.

Serious question, how long has the hood and such been in primer and have they been exposed to weather for a-long time.
If they've sat outside in primer for a-long time, primer absorbs water and will rust underneath.
Unless your sprayed it with epoxy paint, and sprayed it with a paint gun, not a can

If by new black primer you mean the E-coat that comes on replacement panels then just hit them with a red scuff pad all over and you can have them painted. Maaco generally sucks with prep work

There's nothing wrong with maaco as long as you do your own prep work first. You aren't going to get the quality or someone like Rick or Joey but sometimes you don't need that. I'll pony up that kind of cash for my baby in the garage every time but my miata is getting Maaco because I don't want to pay more and I don't care if it doesn't have an amazing paint job.
