New to the forum. Would like to introduce myself.
Due to work, I could be movin from Dallas to VA in the spring. Ive researched Virginia Beach. But Id like to hear from actual people that live there. What's the car scene like? Best places to live? Things to do?

It's fucking gay and retarded. This place is a complete fucking shit hole IMO but aside from all the new scene kid fags, the car community actually is pretty decent. There's a lot going on if you look in the right places.

Honestly, unless you're military, have family here or got the job of a lifetime..Id say in Texas, cheaper housing, better looking wimmez.
Most of us dream and attempt of leaving this place. I'm stuck because I own a home, and I refuse to "rent" my home and have someone trash a house that I worked for. And I also have a life sucking job that pays me 65k a year, as much as I hate my fucking job not many jobs pay good around here..
I dream everyday of packing up my shit, and being in LA or Miami forever..But that will also have its own set of issues and problems.

Doom pretty much hit the nail on the head. Good things about Hampton. Roads:
1. Close driving distance to the outer banks and a bunch of race tracks.
2. Lots of good jobs, mostly associated in one way or another with the military.
Other than that, this place deep throats horse cock in every way imaginable. I really like what I do and they pay me really well for it but I still dream of the day I'm able to get a job similar to mine back in PA, in Charleston, San Diego, or pretty much anywhere better than this place, which is most places.

I'm from Dallas, and when I finish my work here, will be going back to Texas in a heartbeat. That being said, I don't mind living here at all, but then again, I'm a glass half full guy.

Wow you guess hate it there. Lol. I wonder if this a greener grass thing. I get mixed reviews on Virginia, but Personally i could use a change in scenery. I may have to do some more research though.
