i was trying to install a set of progress springs for my ride and i totaly f**ked it up! i have the front ones on and they make noises and sh*t. and well the rear was realy dificult to remove the nut that sits on top of the strut so i just reinstaled the stock rear springs.

anyone here have experience installing these on neons??? i would pay you to come over and give me a hand. or if anyone here has a shop that they rather me take the car to ill do it.

Did you put the top seat on correctly? Shoot fc735 a pm and he may be able to tell you what to do. He installed mine.

 

I have installed a few different suspensions on my 240 as well as installing some coilovbers on a friend of mine's sunfire. I have all the tools at my house that would be needed...you can bring it by and i will take a look at it if you want. Is it 4 way struts or struts up front and shocks in the back?

just took it for another spin and it sounds nasty up front.

 

Just did some researching and found that some vendors have been selling the old stock of progress springs (00-), instead of the spring made specifically for the srt-4. Where did you get these springs, and did you ask specifically for srt springs...

 

yes they are the srt4 springs. how ever i guess i didnt know wtf i was doing everythig was going smooth too. i am so disapointed.

i can possibly help. nevered installed on neon, but they all have the basic similar setup. i have all the tools and even spring compressor. hit me up on a pm, im free most of this week.

 

where are u at?? did u re-torque everything back down correctly?
