I am going, but I will be leaving earlier this time. Last time I felt to rushed. We won't get lost this time and I do need to check what time I am running. I still like to be there to walk the course and all that well in advance. Plus, my main SM competition is running in the first heat.

I'm going too.
I know that registration open's at 9:00 AM and the first car is off at 12:00.
We should probably try to get there around 10:00. That would give us plenty of time to walk the course and so you guys can switch tires.
The Burger King sound fine to me. How long does it take to get to Dinwiddie from the Peninsula?

Eric knows a "back way" from hampton that only takes about 1.5 hours or so I think. Lets see what he says. If the first car isn't even going to leave until 12PM then getting there early is a waste of time. It also says that they will allow a walkthru between heat 2 and 3 which should be fine for most of us. I would like to walk thru once before 12pm and then get the car ready and walk thru once again between 2+3. I would think getting to the site by 11am should be fine.

I try to leave by 9 am to get there around 10:30. And yes, I always go the scenic way. It is about the same amount of time as the interstate, but it is about 20 miles shorter distance.
Guys on the southside may want to just meet us there and go down RT 460. It is about 1.5 hours from norfolk going that way. You just take 460 west to 95 north to 85 south to RT 1 south.
What ever you guys want to do.
