i got a ticket about 2 months ago and tomorrow i have court and i was wondering if it would be worth fight it and maby get out of it or just paying it. i know that any exhaust thats not stock now is illegal, but i still wanna try and fight it. i have an apexi N1 dual, and its fifty state legal( not sure if that helps much), not to loud only when in high rpms, but the cops where never even near my car to hear it. then i talked to this guy at mobil (who does inspections) and he said that i should have never got a ticket cuz its not loud or to big, and that he would be able to pass me in an inspection if i had it,since theres nothing wrong with it. so can any one help or should i just pay the ticket. total amount of the ticket it $85.00. 30 for the ticket its self and 55 for the processing fee. so what do u guys think?

 

I think you should put your stock on, take pictures, take them to court and say you got rid of the "illegal" one.

i took pictures of my car and a stock exhaust from another car and cut and pasted theres onto my car... that got me out of two tickets

 

damn i wish i knew about that earlier and done it, im gonna see if i can still do it. u think i can juust change tags with a friend that has a stock 240 and say its my car?

Technically this is true, but most cops dont care unless they are ass holes. It took me 2 years to get pulled over for my exhaust.

 

yeah most cops really don't care unless they are dicks. but i just got back had to pay $105 for it but i think i should have plead no contest cuz it looked like he didn't have enough evidence. but i had to plead guilty.
