For those who have seen my car, you know that it's a dance club on wheels . Well, i'm entering a "glow off" on May 2nd and was wondering....

Im thinking about installing a "removable" police lightbar (yes, with blue lenses). I know it is illegal to have on the car, but not if I slap it on when I get to the event and take it off before I leave.

Anyway...any opinions? Keep in mind its just for the car shows, etc. Or will I end up pissing off the judges because I'm lighting up the whole damn parking lot?

Im open to "constructive criticisim". Oh, and if anyone knows where I can get one (without ganking one off a car in front of Krispy Kreme) I would appreciate the hook up.

Eh, i dont think it would look right. Your car has just the right amount now to make it stand out (as long as its not in my presence ). Of course, i dont understand why or how "glow off" competitions work, so do whatever will get you to win. As long as you still keep the "good stuff" in top condition.

get the industrial strobe lights and intelligent lighting and go nuts.

 

if it helps you win then cool but i see it as RICE label even though i think that lable is retarded. do your thing and fuck everybody else. but i said Rice because it would follow the label.

I guess more lights are better for a "glow off" but I have a hard time with cop lights on a mustang, but thats just me.

 

Well, I haven't entered any so i'm kinda new at it, but I heard they judge on theme, amount of lights (glow), install (no visible tubes), and originality. I know I need more lights to win against the big boys, but I refuse to be "tacky" about it.
