Im tired of my tint on my car, and dont know a good place that could take it off as me and my friends did it a while back. How much does it cost? And do you guys have any reccomendations or hook ups?

 

In your garage? If you put it on, you should be able to peel it off. If it's been on there for a long time, the adhesive may smell bad for awhile after you peel if off. But no need to go anywhere; just peel that shit off.

 

Hair drier, elbow grease, a lot of time, and a lot of goo gone.

 

....usually just an air gun does the trick; of course it is easier if you're experienced and are used to peeling/cutting/applying window film. I wouldn't pay anybody to do it unless I was having serious trouble for some reason.

 

Yea my boy who did it, i cnat use him anymore. And well i suck at that kinda shit. What shop could i pay that does it for a good price, and has a good rep for good quality?

 

Up here I have no idea. Have you tried on one small window to see what would happen? It's really easier than you're making it out to be. Hell, if you have no luck finding some place, I'll do it for $50.

Just do it yourself with a raze!! it took me 30 min to do my whole car..if u close by i can stop by and help u out!

 

My bf has a shop and tint professionally, if you want to take it off yourself use a heatgun to heat the glass and peel it off. You can use soapy water in a spray bottle and a razorblade to get the glue off. To do the back window, use a heat gun and carb cleaner and spray it on the glass to get the glue off DO NOT use a razor or you will tear up your defrost line. Careful, the carb cleaner stinks, I'm sure there are other things u could use to get it off but carb cleaner works best for us. Hope this info helps.
