fastest 81 times

those of you guys who drive on 81 to get home/school, what's the fastest you ever went:

NoVa to Harrisonburg (or vice versa)

or

NoVa to B-Burg?

time and top speed?

someone's gotta have a good story

Well my husband has never made either of those trips but..... he has been to jail twice for speeding once for doing 100 the other time for doing 104 so if your planning on doing the NoVa to B-Burg trip slow down in Botetourt county.

I've been able to make it from Woodbridge to Radford in 3hr 30min. Avg speed 85. Won't be doing that anymore after the reckless ticket for 88 on a different trip home.

tech to vabeach 3 hours 45 mins. top speed: 140 mph on 64 stretch, and again on 295.

tech to jmu: 1 hour 30 mins. top speed 135 mph.
