What up yall, I have this problem with a cop that lives right across the street from me. You see me and this cop have been on good terms since i moved in. His kids love my car and he likes it as well. He had never said anything to me about any of the blowout parties and all the people i have had over. He actually said i was doing a good job keeping all the beer bottles and poeple contained to the area around my house. Never has he said anything about where people were parking and I'm talking like 40 cars and 60 people 90% of them cars are hooked up. Out of no where this morning my girlfriend goes out to get in her truck for work and she see's him putting something on her window, thinking it was a note of some-sort she grabbed it. It was a parking ticket for parking on the wrong side of the road. WTF!!!!! It was early in the morning to, and its not like nobody does it, there are dozens of cars on my street parked in the opposite directions but nobody gives a fuck the cars are out of the street. Should I say something to him or what?

 

i would just question him about it? dont get pissy just ask him respectively and accept his answer

 

she broke the law and got a ticket. no pity.

 

I wouldnt get all bent out of shape about it, just apologize for the mistake and see what he says...if hes a dick about it, something rubbed him the wrong way that you didnt even know about. Dont get on his badside, cuz then youll pay with more than just A ticket.... youll find yourself swimming in courthouse ink!

 

I live in portsmouth right near chesapeake as well, and we have had parking tickets given out occasionlly to cars when we get crowded for parking too.

Did it have his name on the ticket? Maybe he was just checking it out? And if your girlfriend parked illegally then he's in the right. It takes a whole 15 seconds to turn the car around and park correctly.

 

don't piss him off too badly, then he'll just bug you and your friends in the future

Did he know it was your girlfriend's car? Anyway it doesn't matter if other people do it -- don't park where you shouldn't.
