I need a little help. I am actaully thinking about buying an 89 Honda CRX for a daily driver (30-40MPG vs 15). I am able to get it for a really good deal. Is there any thing important I should know or look for before I buy it?

It is kind of hard to turn down this deal, but there seems to be a little problem with the car. It surges at higher speeds. I was told it maybe caused by the coil or the cap and rotor. Anyone ever had this problem before?

 

It could be a fuel issue as well. I have seen fuel pumps, fuel regulators, and fuel filters cause the same problem.

I very serious doubt that. Just looking for something else to drive before I up my Injector Size, and Install my supercharger. It will be nice to have something else to play with too though. I would have one of each then. Not really into imports that much, but who knows what the future will bring.

 

but for real dude depending on how good your "good" price is if the body and interior are in good shape id buy it. the parts for those year cars are like a dime a dozen. shit i practicley have a junkyard going on in my garage. by the way what color and model(si,dx,hf)? just out of curiosity

 

hey man well i LOVE HONDAS and I am the same way I have some parts lying around too if you do want a intake i have a short 3 inch intake for at car if you want it man im selling it for 20 bucks it doeshave a few scracthes but it still works man
