Default Please Help: 02 civic engine upgrade?

Whats up people?

Thank you for taking the time for my questions. I have an 02 Civic, and I would like to know the best thing to do motor-wize. I have heard about the Type-S & Si swaps, Frankenstein the element block with type S & R heads, and frank. the new CRV block with the type S & R heads. I have also heard that I could keep my little SOHC and just build it correctly.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I would greatly appreciate it. Oh, and please don't say get another car, cause I've thought about it a lot.

Thank you,
C.V

www.honda-tech.com

i really don't understand the purpose of a tech talk section on dragva, since specialized forums always seem to be much more helpful

What are you trying to do? 1/4 mile auto cross or just something to play with? Engine swap is prolly the best and the easiest to get the most for you money. B16 swap with bolt ons and you will be straight.
